Return on the catwalk after 4 years!

Last week after 4 years I finaly made my return to the catwalk in two amazing shows For Antonio Urzi and Diego Salerno.

Offcourse I didn’t quit modelling in the meanwhile I did some big campaigns for companies like FORD cars but my main focus was on my family 🙂

The shows where part of an Inclusive fashion event set up by my lovely agent Giula Barton

New York Fashion Week

As some of you might know allready i’m having a sabbatical from my modelling career at moment because I’m going to be mommy in 12 weeks. But I haven’t lost my interest in disability inclusion. Thats why I’m extremely proud of all the disabled models who rocked the catwalk in New York yesterday!

Especially Shaholly Ayers and Ksenia Bezuglova stunned me! I don’t understand why we don’t see those two in huge campaigns more often!

And no worries! After my pregnancy I’ll be back 😉

Interview Fashionista NL in stores NOW

Hi guys,

Just wanted to send u all a big kiss and say Thank You for the overwhelming support on the Bijenkorf campaign!

The tweet I sended out to Models of Diversity went viral and got mentioned all over the world.

I feel blessed for the oppurtunity and trust Bijenkorf gave me, its a shame it is still world news when a luxury departmentstore as bijenkorf uses a disabled model. But thankfully we are making huge steps lately towards a more inclusive fashion industry.

I can’t wait to see where we are in a few years from now, but at the moment I feel like I’m on the top of the world!

Lots of love xoxo Debs
